A US supplier of quality broiler breeding stock plans to expand its operations in support of the country’s restocking efforts
Aviagen Broiler Breeding Group Inc. business manager for Asia Pacific Rafael Monleon said the company was exploring the possibility of creating more distribution networks to fully support broiler supply and availability.
“The Philippines has a very vibrant poultry industry which is growing very well over the years. We want to see further liberalization of the agriculture sector,” Monleon said. American participants in the first US Agricultural Technology Trade Mission to the Philippines are looking forward to creating strategic partnerships in different fields.
US Ambassador to the Philippines MaryKay Carlson said the trade mission injects innovation into the vastly expanding opportunities for Filipino farmers by connecting them to US technology solutions.
