UP to intensify involvement in BARMM

University of the Philippines Mindanao Professor Lyre Anni Murao disclosed the University of the Philippines’ plan to create a UP Bangsamoro Development Institute to contribute to inclusive and sustainable peace and development in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region for Muslim Mindanao .

“We had stakeholder consultations last year, and UP realized that any collaboration should align with the BARMM agenda. UP plans to take a phased-in approach at a pace that is comfortable with BARMM,” she said.
