The UP Diliman BS Interior Design (BSID) Batch of 2025 celebrated a momentous occasion with the official turnover of their capstone project at the Saint Vincent de Paul Shelter for Girls on December 27, 2024. This annual project underscores the UP BSID program's steadfast commitment to social advocacy. Months of dedicated effort culminated in the realization of the batch's dream to transform the shelter's spaces through the transformative power of interior design.
The students embarked on a comprehensive redesign of multiple key areas on the shelter's ground floor, encompassing the entryway, receiving area, hallway, stairs, toilet and bath, stockroom, dining area, kitchen, and multipurpose area.The project's resounding success was palpable in the genuine joy and heartfelt gratitude expressed by the girls and sisters residing at Saint Vincent de Paul.
