THE University of the Philippines (UP) remained the top Philippine university based on the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings 2023, despite dropping 13 spots from the previous year to 412th.
THE University of the Philippines remained the top Philippine university based on the Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings 2023, despite dropping 13 spots from the previous year to 412th.This was the lowest ranking for UP since 2016 when the university was ranked within the 401-410 group.
'For the 11th year in a row, MIT remains the world's number one university by our metrics. The University of Cambridge has climbed above the University of Oxford to now be the top university in the UK, while Stanford University and Harvard University have retained their position from last year,' QS said in a statement.It noted that there were no new entries in the top 10 ranking for this year.
