University of the East (UE) secured a 57-51 victory over National University (NU) in the UAAP Season 87 men's basketball tournament. Wello Lingolingo's clutch three-pointer proved crucial, extending UE's lead to four points with seconds remaining and ultimately sealing the win for the Warriors.

John Abate drilled in 15 points on top of six rebounds while Lingolingo backed him up with eight points -- including that crucial triple and two free throws that sealed the deal for the Warriors.UE
