ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — The Shoppes at Galway has a new tenant coming, bringing the first of its stores to the province.
Danny Williams, the developer of Galway, confirmed to SaltWire that the brand would be opening a location in Galway, one of only two in Atlantic Canada.Williams said it’s a great addition to the area and a real signal that the retail sector is emerging out of the slump that hit during and following the COVID-19 pandemic.“I think everybody's put COVID behind them. There's no doubt about it.
“They’re getting record sales at their store there,” he said. “There's a lot of people visiting Costco and then of course, anybody who's also in the same plaza in there are getting spin off benefits. There’s a lot of good things happening there.”
