Sudbury fell 123-108 in Newfoundland during their first of three games against the Rogues
The Sudbury Five were in action on Thursday night in Newfoundland for the first of three consecutive basketball games against the Newfoundland Rogues, and this one didn’t go according to plan for the visitors.
With Armani Chaney heading the pack with an impressive 41 points in the game for Newfoundland, the Rogues came back to score 27 points in the second quarter, and at halftime the teams were all tied up by a score of 60-60. The Rogues saved their best quarter for last, scoring 38 points while holding Sudbury to just 26, sealing a 123-108 victory for the Newfoundland Rogues.
