The United Arab Emirates has sent humanitarian aid for victims of Typhoon Carina , the Manila International Airport Authority said Monday.In a statement, the MIAA said that the flight carrying the humanitarian aid arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2 on July 30.
“This assistance is a manifestation of the Philippines' and the UAE's continuing cooperation and commitment to support each other in times of need,” it said.Metro Manila, along other provinces, was placed under a state of calamity in July due to the flooding caused by the Southwest Monsoon enhanced by Carina.
