In its weather bulletin issued at 11 p.m. on Sunday, PAGASA said Typhoon Neneng’s trough and the convergence of its circulation with the southwesterly winds can bring occasional rains. This is expected over portions of Visayas and MIMAROPA, along with the northern and western portions of Mindanao.Occasional gusts with a strength reaching strong breeze to near gale are also expected in the western area of Luzon and the Visayas, and the eastern part of Central Luzon.at 8 p.m. on Sunday, and is projected to move westward over the West Philippine Sea until Monday morning.
It will then turn west southwestward for the rest of Monday through Wednesday, with further intensification expected, with the current maximum sustained winds of 120 kilometers per hour near the center.
