Typhoon AmboPH prompts PCG to suspend operations of cargo vessels, fishing boats nationwide
All operations of cargo vessels and fishing boats “will remain suspended until the public storm warning signal in a certain area is lifted,” Commodore Armand Balilo said.
Maritime activities will resume when the weather condition becomes normal, as may be declared by the weather bureau, according to theCoast Guard. “The Coast Guard Operations Center is on 24/7 nationwide monitoring to oversee the cancellation of vessel movement and to ensure the safety of lives and properties at all costs,” the Coast Guard said.
