The Kerry Stokes-owned company’s head of marketing and human resources will both depart.
Seven West Media’s first-ever chief marketing officer, Charlotte Valente, will soon exit the company after only three years in the role.
One industry source said the timing was not ideal as Ms Valente and CEO James Warburton were due to showcase the broadcaster’s next 12 months of content to advertisers and marketers. It comes two weeks after the Kerry Stokes-owned company confirmed chief people and culture officer Katie McGrath had also made for the exit.
“Charlie has done an amazing job during her time at SWM, pulling together a range of departments into a co-ordinated, go-to-market CMO division; leading the development and launch of new data products ; and introducing new leadership in key areas including Audience Intelligence, Publicity, Marketing and Corporate Communications, all of whom are performing well,” Mr Warburton said in an email to staff seen by this masthead.
“It’s been a momentous three and a bit years which I am hugely proud of; we have transformed our brand and business and achieved some extraordinary results,” she told staff.
