PUTRAJAYA: The Federal Court has struck out an application by two Sabah Christians to reinstate a lawsuit against PAS president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang over the latter's comment, which they deemed as seditious against Christians.

"Enclosure 1 is not supported by a valid and proper affidavit because it is not signed by the commissioner of oath. Therefore, there is no competent application before us. Enclosure 1 is struck out," the judge said here on Tuesday .The other judges on the panel were Federal Court judges Justices Mary Lim Thiam Suan and Justice Harminder Singh Dhaliwal.
Maklin and Lawrence had first filed the suit against Abdul Hadi in December 2020, seeking declarations that he had committed sedition and was unfit to hold public office.
