A multi-unit investigation on the Westshore spanning several months led to the arrests of two alleged drug dealers and the seizure of weapons, drugs and cash, according to police.
In a news release Wednesday, West Shore RCMP say covert surveillance helped its drug unit determine that two suspects living in Sooke were trafficking drugs in and out of town and across the Westshore.
During the search, officers located and seized three prohibited tasers and numerous cartridges, two prohibited switchblade knives, one prohibited butterfly knife and two crossbows, plus replica firearms, including one MP5 and one Carbine-style gun.
