Search of residence of a 43-year-old man and 23-year-old woman turned up prohibited weapons, replicas and two crossbows, along with crack cocaine and methamphetamine
A months-long investigation by West Shore RCMP has led to the arrest of two alleged drug dealers and the seizure of numerous weapons, drugs and money.
After determining via surveillance that two suspects living in Sooke were trafficking drugs there and in the West Shore area, officers searched the pair’s residence and arrested a 43-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman in connection with drug trafficking. There was also about 33 grams of crack cocaine, about 28 grams of powder cocaine, about 18 grams of methamphetamine and 180 grams of cannabis, along with over $600 in cash.
