Two policemen surrendered to authorities on Thursday after warrants of arrest were issued against them in connection with the alleged kidnapping of an e-sabong master agent.
The three suspects wereBrosas surrendered at around 2:45 p.m. while Paghangaan surrendered at 7:50 p.m., De Leon said.
They were the subjects of a warrant of arrest issued by Regional Trial Court Branch 29 Presiding Judge Luvida Padolina Roque in San Pablo City, Laguna on January 17. Bail was set at P400,000 for each case of robbery with violence, but no bail was recommended for the kidnapping and serious illegal detention charges.
"After series of negotiations, our Team 4A have convinced these two former PNP personnel to surrender and already stop putting the image of the PNP in a bad light," De Leon said.
