So I'm just hoping that we can maybe prove ourselves as the underdogs, do well and shock some people,” she said.“Yeah, I'm just looking forward to trying to prove to people that while we might be a smaller province, we can still compete with the bigger ones,” Williams added.
The Selects program has been a boost to many local players and Thomson, who has seen a lot of success in her three years and probably more if COVID hadn’t interrupted some play, talked about the formula for the team which brings together players from Colchester, Pictou and Antigonish counties.
