TWICE member Chaeyoung has apologized for wearing a shirt with a swastika symbol on it.
The K-pop idol earlier posted an Instagram photo of her wearing a Sid Vicious shirt featuring the symbol, which is the emblem used by the German Nazi. She has since deleted the post.“I sincerely apologize regarding the Instagram post. I didn't correctly recognize the meaning of the tilted swastika in the t-shirt I wore,” she said.
“I deeply apologize for not thoroughly reviewing it, causing concern," she added. "I will pay absolute attention in the future to prevent any situation similar from happening again. Sincerely apologize again."
