Trump's efforts allegedly included lying to state officials, manufacturing fraudulent electoral votes and seeking to get then-vice president Mike Pence to obstruct congressional certification of Biden's victory.'When all else had failed,' the special counsel said, Trump directed an 'angry crowd' of supporters to the US Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, to disrupt the certification.
