"Setting the record straight – I tested positive for COVID and I’m currently still in isolation. I was transferred from the quarantine hotel to the isolation facility on Christmas Day. Mga kapatid ko lang na-expose sa akin kasi sabay kaming bumiyahe [Only my sisters were exposed to me because they traveled with me]. They’re finishing home Q now," the younger Robredo, a physician, said in a tweet.
The Vice President had said in a Facebook live on Wednesday that Tricia had tested positive and will complete her quarantine even after testing negative since.is in quarantine, after her close-in security tested positive for the virus. On Thursday, Vice President Robredo posted again to clarify the situation, in response to misinformation apparently circulating that Tricia was not in quarantine and that she had infected the staffer.
"My close-in security never had any exposure to Tricia because she was in the isolation facility when my security reported for his post Christmas duty," she wrote on Facebook."Aika and Jillian are on home quarantine because they were the ones who got exposed after they traveled together. Until now, they are not leaving their bedrooms and are continuing with their quarantine," Robredo added.
