Transfer of IAS from PNP to DILG eyed

Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla said the Internal Affairs Service should be separated from the Philippine National Police and be placed directly under the control of the DILG to make it more efficient in investigating errant police officers. | PDI

“The internal affairs unit of the PNP should be removed from the PNP structure and placed under the control of the secretary of interior and local government,” Remulla said in a radio interview.
