This was according to an advisory from NLEX Corp. – which is supervising the two tollways – since vacationers are anticipated to return to their homes as the long weekend just ended.The company said its patrol teams had been deployed to strategic areas to manage the foreseen traffic situation.
As of 5:00 p.m., NLEX Corp. said all lanes of NLEX and SCTEX were “passable” so far. Specifically, it noted, traffic along and towards the Bocaue Toll Plaza, Candaba Viaduct Southbound, Dau to Mexico Southbound, SCTEX Mabiga to NLEX Dau Southbound, and Tarlac Toll Plaza was moving.
