Toyota sees production recovery starting in September. Toyota CarGuidePH
After supply chain issues bogged down its automotive production for the last couple of months, Toyota is seeing a recovery in production numbers for September through November.
In a statement, Toyota Motor Corporation sees its production numbers up to 850,000 units per month in September, gradually increasing that to about 900,000 units per month through November. This plan, Toyota says, is based on careful confirmation of parts supply and the personnel structures and facility capacities of our suppliers.
The Japanese carmaker is sticking to its full fiscal year production forecast of around 9.7 million vehicles. Having said that, three lines in one plant will see a production suspension in September. The Motomachi Plant will stop production of Toyota’s all-electric bZ4X as well as the Crown and Lexus LC for four days, while the GR Yaris will see a production suspension totaling nine days.
