According to local reports, Lui sustained an injury to his left foot but is now in stable condition. Following the incident, the train was delayed for an hour, affecting 62 passengers. Five trips were also affected. The investigation revealed that the group violated the regulations prohibiting tourists from the track area. Their travel agency may be banned from operating in the area for a year. The Alishan Forest Railway and Cultural Heritage Office stated, 'After investigation, Dream International Travel Service has also led a group to illegally walk on the forest railway tracks before. This time, they led the group to walk on the track and allowed the group members to scatter around the track area to take photos without supervision and warning.' Lui is also facing a fine of $1,500 or around P90,000.
