Eighteen-year-old butcher Jericho Castillo Lampa, a top 9 city-level drug personality, was nabbed in a buy-bust operation conducted by Ma-a Police Station in Purok 18 GEM Village, Ma-a, Davao City on Tuesday.

Lampa, a resident of Barangay 5-A Bankerohan, Davao City, was caught by the personnel of Ma-a Police Station selling suspected “shabu” with a street value of P1,500 to a police officer who acted as poseur-buyer.The Davao City Police Office is intensifying apprehensions of violators of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 in Davao City.

Also on Tuesday, Bunawan Police Station personnel nabbed 39-year-old Anthony A. Bajenting for the same violation at the joint PNP and Task Force Davao checkpoint in Licanan, Lasang, Davao City. Based on the initial investigation shared by DCPO, Bajenting, a resident of Bagontapay, M’lang, North Cotabato, was a passenger of a Public Utility Bus , caught possessing 0.41 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P6,720.

Violation of Sec. 11 of RA 9165 is being prepared for filing at the City Prosecution Office for the suspects.
