LEARNING to balance work and family, accepting support from people, enacting work policies and mentorship programs, spreading excellence and kindness, embracing inner beauty and femininity are the main drivers behind gender diversity and inclusivity in the business sector, top female executives told a Manila Times forum.
With the theme 'Ladies Who Lead: Serving, Inspiring, Empowering Nation Builders,' the Manila Times Women's Circle Forum, held at Hotel Okura on March 20, 2025, celebrated the achievements of women in various fields and aims to inspire other women to reach greater heights. 'It's a difficult balance, but I always say this to the team as well and to my group: balancing is about being there fully whenever they're needed,' she advised. Maaño-Ngai, meanwhile, advised women to be spontaneous in planning their activities and bonding with loved ones. 'There is no such thing as arranging a perfect timing. You have to make the communication very open to everyone.
