Tootsy Angara accompanied her husband, Senator Sonny Angara, at the Senate opening session on Monday wearing a cheery green Balintawak number by Filipino designer Leslie Mobo.
On Instagram, Tootsy posted a photo with her husband and said she was "happily wearing pastels for the first time in a long time." The balintawak is a kind of terno best worn during daytime or summertime. Its more casual nature is evidenced in the fabric, pattern, and even color used — as shown in Tootsy's OOTD.
Lawmakers came in their Filipiniana best for the opening ceremony of the Second Regular Session of the 19th Congress at the Senate.
