MANILA, Philippines: TNT dealt Terrafirma its first loss after hacking out a 100-97 escape act in their Season 48 PBA Philippine Cup on Saturday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Jayson Castro scored 23 points, while Calvin Oftana registered a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds to help the Tropang Giga register their second win in three starts and forge a four-way logjam for third to sixth spots in the standings.Glenn Khobuntin also scored 19 and seven rebounds, rookie big man Henry Galinato notched a double-double of 17 and 11 boards, while Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser added 11 and six.

TNT inflicted Terrafirma its first loss after opening the conference with back-to-back wins.Rookie Stephen Holt led the Dyip with 24 points, eight rebounds and seven assists, Juami Tiongson had 21, while Javi Gomez de Liano added 18.TNT continues to assert its mastery against Terrafirma after winning its 17th straight against the franchise over the last 7 seasons.
