The Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Los Angeles Clippers 116-98, marking their 13th consecutive victory and pushing them closer to the franchise's longest winning streak.

The Oklahoma City Thunder secured their 13th consecutive victory, and longest winning streak since relocating to Oklahoma City, with a dominant 116-98 win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday night. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the charge with 29 points, while Jalen Williams chipped in with 18. This victory brings the Thunder within one win of tying the franchise's all-time longest winning streak .

Prior to becoming the Thunder in 2008, the Seattle Supersonics, at 64-18, achieved a 14-game winning streak during the 1995-96 season. The Thunder's stifling defense, particularly in the third quarter, proved decisive. They forced seven turnovers in the period, converting them into 17 points and outscoring the Clippers 42-20. Oklahoma City capitalized on turnovers throughout the game, racking up 31 points off them. The Clippers, missing James Harden due to right groin soreness, suffered their second consecutive loss. Over the past two games, the Thunder have outscored their opponents 85-43 in the third quarter. Gilgeous-Alexander exploded for 15 points in the third, including six free throws, shooting 9-of-17 from the field and converting all nine free throws. Unlike their previous win against the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Thunder maintained a comfortable lead throughout the fourth quarter, allowing coach Mark Daigneault to rest Gilgeous-Alexander for the entire period. Clippers' leading scorer, Norman Powell, struggled from the field, missing his first 10 shots before connecting four minutes into the fourth quarter. He finished with a season-low six points on 1-of-11 shooting. Amir Coffey paced the Clippers with a season-high 26 points. Despite the Clippers' hot start offensively, making seven of their first 10 shots, Oklahoma City struggled, particularly from long range
