Thunder Bay man arrested after seizure of $270,000 worth of drugs

THUNDER BAY — A Thunder Bay man faces multiple charges after city police searched a north-side home and found more than a quarter of a million dollars worth of drugs.

Officers executed a search warrant Wednesday evening at a residence in the 300s block of High Street North. The warrant was obtained as a result of an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking at that location. Police searched the home and located suspected hydromorphone tablets, hydromorphone, oxycodone tablets, morphine tablets, cocaine, and paraphernalia consistent with trafficking.Nummikoski appeared in bail court on Thursday and was remanded into custody with a future appearance date.
