THUNDER BAY — The Thunder Bay Police Service says it has now investigated a reported robbery attempt that occurred last week at a North High Street bus stop.It occurred on the evening of Sept. 28, but wasn't initially reported to police.
When university officials were told about it, they requested police assistance, and a Thunder Bay Police Service officer visited a student residence at Lakehead this week to get more information. According to a TBPS news release Thursday, three students were at a bus stop in the 300s block of North High when three young males approached them.When the students refused, the males left the scene.
The TBPS says anyone who believes they were the victim of a crime should contact police and file a formal report as soon as possible.In other cases, victims wishing to speak with an officer should use the TBPS non-emergency phone number, 684-1299, to learn about their options.
