Three island getaways in the Philippines made it to this year's Condé Nast Traveler (CNT) Top 10 Readers' Choice Awards.
Boracay, Palawan and Siargao were ranked third, sixth, and tenth, respectively, by readers of the respected luxury and lifestyle travel magazine from around the world.'We welcome the resounding message tourists from around the world say: they love the Philippines!' Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia-Frasco said in a statement on Friday.
'From the charm of our islands, pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, vibrant marine life, lush landscapes, rich heritage and culture, and the excellent hospitality of the Filipino people, the Philippine experience is always one that is filled with love and happy travels,' she added.
