Four men - including two who were on bail - allegedly scaled the fence of a home on the outskirts of Brisbane where they demanded the owners hand over an e-scooter, before stabbing their pet dog.
Queensland Police said two men attended a Forest Lake property, in the city's south-west, on Sunday about 5pm to buy the electric scooter the occupants advertised online.
The four assailants demanded the electric scooter be handed over and started to smash the rears glass doors of the home to get the owners to come outside. A 30-year-old man suffered"serious" stab wounds to the back and stomach, while a 33-year-old man was knifed the arm and a 20-year-old man received minor injuries.
Three of the attackers - a 24-year-old Goodna man, a 21-year-old Redbank man and a 21-year-old Darra man were located nearby with the help of the Dog Squad. The duo are expected to be charged some time on Monday. The fourth man remains on the run, but police are understood to know his identity.
