Officers said they spotted a black Mercedes being driven dangerously by a 46-year-old woman in Bonogin yesterday afternoon. "Police activated their vehicle's warning lights and attempted to intercept the vehicle, however it allegedly fled the scene," a spokesperson said in a statement.Shortly after, police were flagged down by a passing motorist who alerted them to a collision involving the car about a kilometre from the attempted intercept.A man and woman, both aged in their 70s and a woman in her 30s, were inside the second car and became trapped.
