Forward Nick Mahar of the Pictou County Weeks Crushers and defenceman Van Sawlor of the Yarmouth Mariners were named to the Eastlink South team of the week. Mahar, a Sydney product, had a goal and five assists in three games, while Sawlor, a Sydney native, had a goal and an assist in one game. Meanwhile, defenceman Dell Welton of Baddeck was named to the league's Eastlink North team of the week. He had a goal and an assist in two games with the Fredericton Red Wings.

Former Cape Breton Eagles' property Frédéric Plourde was also named to the team of the week in the Eastlink North conference.
