Three people are facing charges in connection with a fraudulent gift card scheme in the GTA.
Investigators executed search warrants on January 25 at a Toronto business and a home in Richmond Hill. They arrested three people that day. Iouri Perett, 38, and Vitalii Fokov, 35, both of Richmond Hill, have been charged with fraud , dealing in altered gift cards and possession of proceeds obtained by crime.

Teck forecasts big jump in copper output this yearCanadian miner Teck Resources has missed its production guidance for copper in 2022, but the company has set its sights on significantly higher output this year, as its new mine in Chile continues to ramp up.
