"We've had crews working throughout the night and have been monitoring this weather pattern, so we have the resources ready to respond to outages and get people back online as safely and quickly as possible," Powercor's Emma Tyner said.Major flood warnings remain in place for the Goulburn, Campaspe and Maribyrnong rivers.
“We're certainly expecting the tempo to increase now — we've got watch and act for major flood warnings out of the Campaspe River, the Ovens and the King,” he said.Numerous warnings remain in place throughout the state. The transport department is also reporting water over the Hume freeway just north of Melbourne and all Albury V-Line services between Somerton and Albury are being replaced by buses.
