It’s called the Hyundai Rotem K3
It’s well known that Hyundai isn’t just in the business of making cars. It has a construction arm, logistics, electronics, and heavy machinery. There’s also Hyundai Rotem that also has defense products.
Among the products in the Hyundai Rotem portfolio are battle tanks. Yes, tanks. From the same company that builds the humble Creta crossover.Toyota Altis hybrid gets battery boost, facelifted GR Sport version for 2025Hyundai Rotem has been making tanks since the late-80s. So far, there have been two generations of its battle tanks, the K1 and K2. But coming soon is the K3, and it has all the ingredients to potentially become the first true stealth tank.
What makes it more terrifying for hostiles is the performance. The hydrogen fuel cell powers electric motors. And the thing about electric motors is that they provide strong acceleration from a standstill. Couple that with a 130mm smoothbore main gun, a remote-control turret that can support calibers from 12.7mm to 30mm, and a guided missile system, the K3 can be a force to be reckoned with.
