When it comes to police vehicles, Ford is one of the biggest suppliers out there. Just take a look at the police fleets over in the US, and you’ll see departments lined with rows and rows of the Explorer-based Police Interceptor.
So, what does it get? Right off the bat, there’s the steel bumper with a built-in winch and bullbar. The LED lightbar is also included, as well as a siren and PA system. You won’t find a step board on this Ranger as extra ground clearance takes higher priority. There’s no mention what kind of engine the Ford Ranger Police Package uses. That said, there could be a choice between the 2.0-liter EcoBlue turbodiesel or the twin-turbo version of the same engine.
