The Apple Watch Ultra 2 is more of a refresh. Looks like Apple is saving some big things for it until next year.
To go along with the Apple Watch 9, is the Apple Watch Ultra 2, the very expensive smartwatch from Apple. As expected and as rumors suggested, the Apple Watch Ultra 2 saw incremental updates from the previous version. Truth be told, I had expected Apple to forgo with the announcement of the Ultra 2 until bigger updates were to be mentioned. It seemed, Apple wants to continue the momentum that it started with the Ultra name.
It’s still a pretty neat smartwatch that can track your fitness and adventures in the mountains or in the sea. And it’s sturdy, as it should. It's the kind of smartwatch you can take with you on mountain climbing or diving. The Ultra 2 will also get the S9 SiP, which means you get all the features from the regular Apple Watch 9, like that sweet-sweet double tap.
You get 3000 nits. Modular Ultra to provide more information using the edges of the watchface. It has 36 hours on typical use, and more in lower power mode.
