Mac Tallo is relishing a new-found lease on his PBA career and he has Converge head coach Aldin Ayo a lot to thank for.
who was out of the league for four years, announced his return with 15 points built on three triples in Converge’s 103-84 loss to Blackwater on Wednesday, Nov. 8.expressed his gratitude to his FiberXers coach who he revealed to have personally contacted him for a possible PBA comeback.
It would still take a year however for Tallo to officially become a part of Converge due to contractual obligations with his 3x3 team Chooks-To-Go. Upon getting his release, Tallo’s return still didn’t go smoothly as he still had to take care of pending disciplinary action when he was released by NLEX in 2019.
Finally back, Tallo is raring to repay the trust of Ayo who he credited for the development of his game that allowed him to become the country’s top player in the 3x3 circuit. He, however, admitted that he was still adjusting to the competitive 5-on-5 play after years suiting up in the halfcourt game.
