Converge ICT Solutions, Inc., a leading fiber broadband provider in the Philippines, became the first Filipino company to join the ASEAN Circular Economy Business Alliance , a private sector-led initiative promoting circular economy strategies and practices throughout Southeast Asia.

“We actively promote a circular economy as we aim to reduce our solid waste to landfill to zero by 2030,” said company vice president and head of Corporate Communications and Public Relations Jay-Anne Encarnado who virtually attended the launch of the initiative on July 22, 2024 in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Converge has implemented various initiatives to achieve its sustainability goals that include the shift to 100 percent renewable energy for its data centers and launching a #CountdowntoZeroWaste campaign focused on refurbishing old modems and recycling used materials.
