A teenager in Singapore has been brought to court for multiple fights, possession of weapons, and aiding scammers by opening bank accounts in his own name. The teenager, who is just 17 years old, has been described by the District Judge as shocking and seemingly intent on becoming a gangster. He has pleaded guilty to two counts of fighting, one for selling bank accounts to scammers, and one for possession of a weapon.
His sentencing is set for May 9, and seven other charges will be taken into consideration. In January 2023, the teenager and four former secondary schoolmates met up with two victims and instructed them to move to a nearby carpark
