A teenage volunteer firefighter has been charged with allegedly deliberately lighting a number of blazes in New South Wales this year.
The fires were lit in the Hunter region at Weston, Pelaw Main, Bellbird, Greta, Aberglasslyn, Melville and Cessnock on several occasions in July and August.

Picture: NSW PoliceHe was taken to Maitland Police Station and charged with 15 offences, including 13 counts of intentionally cause fire and be reckless as to its spread, and two charges of destroy property of equal to or less than $2,000 in company, use fire.
