MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Trail Running Team (PhilTra) reached greater heights after earning two silver medals in the Asia Pacific Trail Running Championships 2024 in Uliji, South Korea.
MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Trail Running Team reached greater heights after earning two silver medals in the Asia Pacific Trail Running Championships 2024 in Uliji, South Korea. Johnray 'Stingray' Onifa crossed the line first in the 40-kilometer Short Trail Category, finishing in three hours and 47 minutes.
In the men's Long Trail category, the Philippines likewise finished second overall as Larry Apolinario led the team with his sixth-place finish, while Arnie Macarenas took ninth place. Rhys Pawid , Roberto Cain , and Paul Brillantes trailed behind. In the women's side of the Short Trail category, Elizabeth Dangadang and Angelie Cabalo, finished 6th and 16th, respectively, towing the squad to fourth place overall.
