The newly formed MPL Philippines squad announced that the five-man core of the M5 world champions will represent Team Falcons in the Snapdragon Pro Series S6 APAC Challenge Finals next week in Malaysia.
The roster boasts familiar names like FlapTzy (exp laner), KyleTzy (jungler), Pheww (midlaner), Super Marco (gold laner), and Owgwen (roamer), along with sixth man Pandora. Interestingly, Team Falcons previously had a partnership with AP. Bren, but the two organizations parted ways, ultimately leading to Team Falcons securing its own slot in MPL. While the team revealed its star-studded lineup, they have yet to disclose who will be leading the charge as head coach. Notably absent from the initial announcement was Francis 'Ducky' Glindro, AP. Bren's longtime head coach. This marks Team Falcons' first foray into the MLBB tournament scene since entering the Philippine scene, and they will face off against several formidable teams. They are grouped alongside another Filipino team, Aurora Gaming, Falcons Esports of Myanmar, and Indonesian powerhouses Onic Esports, RRQ Hoshi, and EVOS. Team Falcons has also remained tight-lipped about whether this same core will continue to represent them in the MPL Philippines Season 15, which kicks off next month
