A 32-year-old male public teacher died due to acute renal failure from incessant vomiting and loss of bowel movement resulting in electrolyte imbalance on July 21, 2022, at the Southern Philippines Medical Center .
The victim is from Lingig, Surigao del Sur but working as a teacher in a public school in Toril and resides in Lubogan, Toril. The total barangays affected are still 21 with 18 barangays coming from Toril and three outside Toril.
