BACOLOD CITY - A bus owned by the city government of Bacolod carrying teachers from a team-building activity figured in a road accident on a mountainous area, killing one and injuring 35 other teachers on Friday.
Initial investigation showed that the bus was ferrying Paglaum Elementary School teachers who were going home from a team-building trip in Sipaway Island, San Carlos City when the vehicle flipped on its side in Purok Talus, Barangay Igmaya-an, Don Salvador Benedicto, at around 5:40 p.m. on June 14.Reports said the bus, which was reportedly full of passengers, lost control and turned on its side, killing one teacher and injuring 35 others.
