It’s not a Taylor Swift album release day without a giant surprise.
Two hours after releasing "The Tortured Poets Department," the singer surprises fans with its second part, “The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology.” On Instagram, Taylor announced the “2am surprise.""The Tortured Poets Department is a secret DOUBLE album,” Taylor said on Instagram.“I’d written so much tortured poetry in the past 2 years and wanted to share it all with you, so here’s the second installment of TTPD: The Anthology,” she added.
According to Taylor Swift, “The Tortured Poets Department” is “an anthology of new works that reflect events, opinions and sentiments from a fleeting and fatalistic moment in time - one that was both sensational and sorrowful in equal measure.”The album’s first single is “Fortnight,” featuring Post Malone with a music video coming out at 8 p.m. ET, or 8 a.m. on April 20 in the Philippines.
