A 22-year-old tattoo artist was arrested in Barangay Marulas, Valenzuela City over the alleged rape of a 16-year-old client in 2022, according to a report on Unang Balita on Tuesday.The Valenzuela City Police served an arrest warrant against the suspect who was moving to different places in Valenzuela City and Quezon City to hide from authorities, GMA Integrated News’ James Agustin reported.
Valenzuela City Police chief Police Colonel Nixon Cayaban said the victim was a regular client of the suspect.“Itong biktima isa sa mga customers niya lagi. So after that siguro nagkaroon ng hindi inaasahang kwan, parang 'yun nga, na-rape. At sabi parang gang rape pa. So nag-push through maisampa ang kaso,” Cayaban said.“Itong accused naman siguro, hindi niya inaasahan at nabuntis pa itong biktima ,” he added.The suspect, who is in the custody of the city police, denied the allegations.
