The Cultural Center of the Philippines' resident theater company Tanghalang Pilipino launched its 38th Season with the theme "REVOLT."On Saturday, Tanghalang Pilipino teased fans with the glimpses of its lineup: "Balete," "Sandosenang Sapatos," and "Kisapmata."TP's Artistic Director, "Tatang" Nanding Josef, vowed to continue to revolt for human rights, justice, and peace in our country and the world.
Luis Gatmaitan, this is a heartwarming musical that follows the journey of a child who wishes to fulfill her shoemaker father's dream of having a ballerina for a daughter. Unfortunately, the child was born without feet.Among the cast are Felicity Kyle Napuli and Wincess Jem Yana as Susie and Tex Ordoñez-De Leon as Nanay.The musical was part of Tanghalang Pilipino's 37th season and is set to return this November 15 to December 8.
